Dublin are through to their 5th All-Ireland football final in 7 years.
Jim Gavin’s side dominated Tyrone in yesterday’s semi-final to claim a 12 point victory and book a final meeting with Mayo for the second year in a row.
Tyrone were expected to give the Dubs their toughest test of the summer so far, but their challenge never got going in what was a bad end to an encouraging Championship for Mickey Harte’s side.
In total Dublin hit just two wides as they amassed a score of 2-17 to Tyrone’s 11 points.
The goals came from Con O’Callaghan and Eoghan O’Gara, while Peter Harte also had a late Tyrone penalty saved by Stephen Cluxton.
Jim Gavin says there’ll be plenty of competition for places on the team ahead of the All-Ireland in three weeks.
