Defeat for Tipperary minor hurling team in Munster championship opening match

There was defeat for the Tipperary minor hurling team last night in their Munster championship opener.

The Premier were beaten by Waterford in FBD Semple Stadium on a full time score line of 1-16 to 0-17.

Tipp were down by three points at half time but scored eight points straight to lead by five with 20 minutes to go.

However, Waterford finished strong, scoring seven of the last eight points to win the game.
