The Mid Tipp school were taking on Cork’s North Mon in the quarter-finals of the Munster U17A schools hurling competition.

The concession of three first half goals made things difficult for the Templemore school.
The Cork side ran out 5-16 to 1-23 winners in Fethard Town Park.
