21 year old takes Bobby Power Memorial in Carrick on Suir

122 riders took to the start line for yesterday’s annual St Patrick’s Day races promoted by the Panduit Carrick Wheelers Cycling Club.

Con Scully of the Dan Morrissey Carlow team took the honours in the main event – the C1 race for the Bobby Power Memorial.

The C2 race – the Past Members Memorial Cup in memory of Pat Nugent – was won by Matthew Wall of Lucan Cycling Road Club while the C3 Tommy Sheehan Memorial went to Daniel Stone of the Roadman Cycling Club

Aoife O’Donovan of Dungarvan CC won the women’s race.
