Coursing Club boss explains timetable change

The three-day event at Powerstown Park, Clonmel, gets underway tomorrow morning.

The days on which the courses are being run off has changed this year.

Chief Executive of the Irish Coursing Club DJ Histon says having examined the figures relating to past meetings it was decided it would be best to hold it on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

This is likely to be arrangement for the forseeable future.
