In the county senior hurling championship, Toomevara faced off against Roscrea in the early throw-in today, the full time score there was 3-13 to 1-20 in Toomevara’s favour.
In the first of the Double headers Loughmore-Castleiney played Upperchurch-Drombane – that game finished 2-19 to 18 points in Loughmore’s favour after a sluggish start to the game.
Mullinahone played Eire Og Annacarthy and Eire Og clinched that one on a scoreline of 1-18 to 14 points.
In the other double header today Templederry faced Silvermines, where Templederry were ran out winners 19 points to 1-13.
Nenagh Éire Óg also played there against Kilruane McDonaghs.
Kilruane won that one, with a 3-17 to 15 points victory.
In the late throw in’s this evening Clonoulty-Rossmore face Ballina in Dolla at 6:30 and Holycross-Ballycahill play Lorrha-Dorrha in Templederry at 7:00
