County Board hoping changes will help club players

The Tipp County Board is proposing changes to the championship format to help ‘forgotten club players.’

With much of the emphasis on inter-county games, the county board is devising a structure to ensure club players know when they will be playing matches.

The changes come out of a major survey of clubs, players and members of the public that was presented at a County Board meeting last night.
