The Cloughjordan based trainer will be hoping for the perfect send off when he runs Moving on Up in the 7.35 race, with a cash prize of almost €6,000 for the winning horse.
He told Tipp FM Sport it's a little 'unreal' that he won't be training publicly anymore.
He said: 'Obviously it's going to be sad…but I might have the odd horse of my own that I might run. It is sad, but I've had no regrets. I love the game and it's been very good to me.'
Swan’s biggest success since his announcement was when Rogue Trader claimed the opening 2015 Navan Membership Maiden Hurdle last Saturday.
The 6-1 shot turned in a thoroughly impressive performance in the hands of Nina Carberry and eventually winning by 12 lengths.
The first of the eight race card at Dundalk will go to post at 5.35.
