It was a tough night at the office for Celtic in the opening night of the Champions League group stages.

They fell to a 7-0 defeat away to Barcelona in the Camp Nou.

The result was Celtic's worst ever defeat in Europe.

Meanwhile Arsenal came away from France with a 1-1 draw against Paris St Germain

However Manchester City's home match with Borussia Monchengladbach was called off before it could start due to heavy rain in the area.

That game has been rescheduled for this evening at 7.45.

Elsewhere in the competition last night, Bayern Munich defeated FC Rostov 5-0, while last year's beaten finalists Atletico Madrid were 1-0 winners over PSV.
