A meeting of Celtic and Dundalk in the next round of the Champions League is now a possibility.
The draw for the next stage was made this morning, and if Celtic come through their two legs with Linfield they will play either Dundalk or Rosenborg.
The reigning Irish champions played out a one-all draw with their Norweigan counterparts in their first leg on Wednesday.
Celtic’s rescheduled first leg with Linfield takes place at 5 this evening.
The game was originally pencilled in for the 12th of Juy but was moved due to security concerns.
There will also be no travelling Celtic fans allowed into the ground.
Cork City and Shamrock Rovers have also learned their potential opponents for the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League.
Cork will play Rabotnicki of Macedonia or Dinamo Minsk of Belarus – that’s if they can overturn a 1-nil first leg deficit against AEK Larnaca.
Rovers meanwhile will take on Kairat Almaty of Kazakhstan or Albanian side Skenderbeu.
However they trail Mlada Boleslav 3-2 after last night’s 2nd qualifying round first leg.
