Places in the last eight of the county Premier Intermediate and Intermediate Hurling Championships are up for grabs this afternoon.
In the Premier intermediate grade, neighbours Cashel King Cormacs take on Boherlahan-Dualla in their preliminary quarter-final clash.
Speaking on Friday evening’s Across The Line, Enda Treacy from the Tipperary Star thinks the West side might have too much for last year’s intermediate champions:
“I think Boherlahan are missing Dylan Fogarty, he picked up a bad injury in an U19 game last week and he had been playing really well for them in the half-back line.
“He will be a loss for them even though he’s only a young man but he’s been a big playr for them.
“It won’t be a blowout by any means but I’d fancy Cashel to get the job done.”
That game is live on Tipp FM with throw-in set for 2pm in Dundrum.
At the same time in Moneygall, Borrisokane and Drom-Inch meet in their preliminary intermediate quarter-final clash.
Elsewhere today, there’s a pair of county U19 hurling semi-finals down for decision.
In the A grade, it’s a repeat of last year’s final when Toomevara meet Holycross/Ballycahill at 3pm in Templemore.
At the same time in Templederry, Kilruane MacDonaghs and Upperchurch-Drombane meet in the U19B county semi-final.
Meanwhile, the South Junior A hurling final takes place this afternoon.
Moyle Rovers take on St. Patrick’s in Kilsheelan with throw-in set for 3pm.
