Calls for review of banned sprinter’s case

Sport Ireland are being called upon to re-examine the case of banned Mullingar sprinter Steven Colvert.

The Irish Independent report that experts have found inconsistencies in test results and have found the lab findings as “implausible”

In an article published by Lab Times they say the findings were based on subjective opinion of experts, a method ruled implausible in such cases in a prior case at the court of arbitration for sport.
