Browne likely to be appointed as Tipp under 21 manager

Former Tipp star Declan Browne is likely to be appointed as the county's Under 21 football manager this evening.

The County Board is due to meet in Thurles later to finalise the football management teams for the coming year.

The two-time All Star looks set to take over from Tommy Toomey who has left to join the Laois management team with Peter Creedon.

Meanwhile in club action, Clonakenny-Moneygall take on Clonmel Commercials this evening in the County Minor (A) Football Championship.

Dr. Morris Park is the venue with throw-in at 7.30 with extra time to be played if necessary.
