O’Keefe notches up win number five of pro career

Tipperary’s Shauna O’Keeffe has recorded the biggest victory of her professional career this morning.

The Clonmel boxer took on unbeaten Australian Taylah Gentzen in Brisbane in a super-lightweight bout.

O’Keefe went into the fight with a 4 and 0 record while Gentzen was 6 and 0.

The fight went the full ten rounds with the Carrigeen Queen taking the win on a split decision – O’Keefe had her opponent down in round 7.
