Shauna O’Keeffe has her eyes set on a European title fight in the near future.
The Clonmel boxer has improved her professional record to 4-0 this year and has some big bouts lined up in the coming weeks.
O’Keeffe will be fighting at the press conference for the heavyweight championship rematch between Oleksander Usyk and Tyson Fury in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 18th before another bout on the undercard of the world title bout between Jai Opetaia and Huseyin Cinkara in Brisbane, Australia on January 8th.
Speaking on Extra-Time, the 30-year-old has her eyes set on big things in 2025:
“I’m definitely aiming to fight for a European title in March and I’m waiting to find out and with any luck it will be a show in Ireland.
“No one has ever won the European title in Ireland, no female ever so I’d be making history and what better place to make it than back home.”
