Thomas Barr has qualified for the semi-finals of the 400 metre hurdles at the World Championships in dramatic fashion.
Barr originally missed out on one of the four automatic qualification spots after finishing his heat in 5th place – one hundreth of a second from 4th.

However Kyron McMaster who finished 2nd was later disqualified by officials, after replays showed he stepped on his inside line.
That decision moved Barr up to 4th, and into the semi-finals which take place tomorrow night.
