Locals are invited to see an International-standard Athletics meeting up close and personal in Clonmel today.
It’s on at the Sports hub at the TUS campus.

The main event this morning will be the Dr Pat O’Callaghan Hammer & Shot Put Gala which runs until 2 o’clock with top level competitors from around the country.
Then the Irish Milers Club take over with their meeting continuing until 5pm
The programme also includes the Paralympic 100m and a Daily Mile events for Primary Schools.
The action goes on all say and admission is completely free.
