Kilkenny goalkeeper David Herity has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling.
A member of the Cats' panel since 2008, the Dunnamaggin stopper won five All Ireland medals – most recently as an unused sub in September's replay defeat of Tipperary.

Herity is the second Cats star to bow out within a week, following the retirement of Tommy Walsh.
