All-Ireland final day for the Tipperary U20 hurlers.
Brendan Cummins side take on Kilkenny in UPMC Nowlan Park in the decider, where throw-in is set for 3pm.
9 players starting today started last year’s All-Ireland final loss to Offaly.
Speaking on Across The Line, Enda Treacy from the Tipperary Star says Tipp will be desperate to win today:
“They would have been so disappointed after that game last year, a lot of the players didn’t reach their potential on the day and there would have been a lot of regrets over the winter months and a lot of hunger built up in that time.
“They’re back now and they have a chance for a bit of redemption in the same venue albeit against different opposition but they will be no less motivated I think and they will be desperate to get over the line because there is a fair chunk of this team gone out of the U20 grade for next year and this will be their last chance to get an All-Ireland medal at the grade.
“There will be a lot of motivation there and hopefully they will be ready for it.”
