Aherlow GAA club lose out to Austin Stacks following Munster intermediate football final

It wasnt to be for Aherlow GAA club today following their first ever Munster intermediate football final where they took on Kerry’s Austin Stacks in Mallow.

The Tralee outfit had previously contested the Munster senior final back in 2021 and bounced straight back up to the senior ranks in Kerry following last year’s surprise relegation.

Stacks emerged in an early lead in this afternoons match and the scoreline finished a definitive Aherlow 0-1 to Austin stacks 7-7
