It might be early in the season but already the Tipperary Southern & District Premier League battle looks set to be a thrilling affair.
Peake Villa are unbeaten while Cashel Town have suffered just a single defeat.
St Michael’s are as always likely to be in the hunt while Clonmel Town manager Barry Ryan is hoping they can keep up their challenge for honours.
“I have no doubt St Michael’s are quite happy with where they’re at at the moment. I think Peake Villa will feel this is their big year to challenge.”
“And look we make no secret of it that in Clonmel Town our aim is to win the league this year – nothing less than that.”
“I think we showed everybody in the Complex that we were capable of standing up to St Michael’s – we were the better side on the day and I think that’s our performance level now and if we can maintain that I have no doubt that with a couple of games to go we’ll be firmly in the mix to win this league.”
