Loss for Cashel RFC while history is made for Nenagh Ormond

One of the two Tipperary teams in the AIL today have made history,

Nenagh Ormonde were up against UCC in New Ormond Park with all to play for, the Nenagh side never gave in despite the opposition leading for the majority of the match.

They came back in the final minutes of the game to make history with a 36-33 full time score.

 

However it was not to be for Cashel RFC today as they narrowly missed out on their chance to get to Divison 1B after they lost out to Dublin University in Trinity College.

Despite leading for most of the games playtime, the opposition made a late recovery to bring the scoreline to 18-16
