Previous research has shown how more people say they remember childhood trips more than birthdays and only one in four children talk to their parents about ‘something that matters’ more than once a week.
Post Covid, leading psychology lecturer and early childhood education specialist Dr Mary O’Kane believes that 2023 is important for families to get out of their comfort zone and is urging families to put ‘We Time’ escapes high on the agenda for the family calendar, particularly ahead of mid-term and the new ROI bank holiday on February 6th.
