In the first hour of this morning’s Tipp Today we spoke to Noel O’Dywer about the issue of potholes in Thurles, we also spoke to one of our listeners about the same issue. Cllr Jim Ryan called into the show with some clarification on the matter. We spoke about the upgrading of the water supply in Carrick on Suir.

In the second hour of today’s show we spoke to Marcus O’Connor from the county council who answered questions about road issues. We also had our weekly legal slot with John Lynch. We also had physical therapist Neil Dennehy live in studio to talk about back problems and answer listener questions.

In the final hour of this morning’s Tipp Today we spoke to Independent Deputy Michael Lowry about new flood lighting on the Rock of Cashel and also about the ongoing dispute between Bord na Mona workers and management. We also spoke to Dennis Floyd chairperson of Birdhill Tidy Village committee who has been named Tipperary person of the year for 2017 and we lamented Neil Diamond’s decision to retire from preforming live following his diagnosis of Parkinson’s.
