Tipp Today: Tipperary historian looks at the consideration to rename GAA clubs

The GAA have been asked to consider renaming clubs called after John Mitchell, the elected MP for Tipperary in the 1800’s, United Ireland campaigner and journalist who was an advocate for slavery at the time and a supporter of the confederacy in the US Civil War.

John Flannery from the Ormonde Historical Society joined Fran on Tipp Today earlier.
