On Tipp Today this week Fran Curry spoke with Dr Robert O’Connor about a breakthrough by a Irish lead team of scientists in treating an aggressive form of breast cancer.

“Triple negative” breast cancer is the most difficult to treat and about one in five women diagnosed with breast cancer are affected by this form of it. Its particularly prevalent in young woman.
