Cllr Michael Fitzgerald has been elected as the Cathaoirleach of the Tipperary-Cahir-Cashel Municipal District.
His election came fourty years to the day since he first attended a meeting as a Tipperary County Councillor.
Cllr Fitzgerald joined Fran on Thursday.
