Tipp Today Highlights – Appeal over statute decapitation

On Monday Fran was joined by Superintendent Pat Murphy of the Thurles Garda District over the vandalism caused to a 19th century statute on the grounds of The Cathedral of the Assumption.

An individual or individuals took the head of the sculpture of the former archbishop Dr. Patrick Leahy which has stood on the grounds of the cathedral for over 100 years.
