This mornings Tipp Today came live from Nenagh. In the first hour, Fran spoke to a home owner near semple Stadium about a public meeting last night on parking issues around the venue on match days, we also spoke to Political Editor with the Irish Mail on Sunday John Lee about the Dail vote on rural broadband, we spoke to John Regan from Bord na Mona in Littleton as a redundancy deal was made between workers and management at the facility and we spoke about bee keeping in Tipperary!

In the second hour of Tipp Today, we spoke to our coursing correspondent David Byrnes ahead of the National coursing festival taking place in Clonmel this weekend. This led to a number of calls from people both opposed and in support of the sport, including John Fitzgerald from the Irish Council against Blood sports, Listener John McGrath also gave his views on coursing. We also spoke to 60 year old Brian Murphy who is embarking on a walk from Dundalk and Clonmel to raise money for charity.

In the final hour of this mornings Tipp Today, Fran spoke to Robbie Power from Carrick on Suir ahead of his play this weekend. We also had our friday Panel with Ger Corrigan, Jim Finn and Margaret Stone where we spoke about rural Ireland – Past, present and future.
