Tipp Today Caller – Action for Rural Road

Date:

Share:

We were joined in studio today by Declan O’Shea who formed a group back in 2012 to try and get the seriously deteriorating roads in the Carrick on Suir area addressed.

The group frequently met with the council and the majority of work was done including reconstruction of roads.

However with the subsequent flooding and heavy frost in the intervening years the roads have now deteriorated back to the state they were.

Some are calling for a new group to be re-established.
