Ireland’s first ever social media course for adults which aims to help combat scammers and keep older people connected has been launched.

‘Social media for seniors’ aims to help people aged 55 and over learn how to share and post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

It will also educate an older demographic on how to spot scam social media accounts and detect fake news.

Renaissance Academy Managing Director Mark Conway spoke to Alison about the course.
