Seamus Doran’s song for Dinny Lacey

On yesterday’s program we heard from historian John Connors recounting the life of Dinny Lacey in the last of our talks about the major Tipperary figures from the war of Independence and the subsequent Civil War.

Seamus Doran has written a song about Dinny Lacey as well as the other legendary figures. I spoke to him recently and he reminded us about his on-going project.
