A family battling Motor Neuron Disease – Joan & John Ryan chat with Fran Curry

On Tipp Today Fran chats with Joan Ryan about her husband Tommy who is suffering from Motor Neuron Disease.

She is joined by her son John as they chat about the impact the condition has had on the entire family. John who is also the Senior Hurling Manager with Upperchurch and brother of Tipperary Senior Hurling Manager Michael Ryan also talks about his upcoming plans to abseil down Croke Park- where the Tipp Senior Hurlers raised the Liam McCarthy in 2016- to raise both awareness and funds for the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association.
