Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family.

In the wonderful care of the staff of Nenagh General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Billy and Bridie, infant brother Francis, brothers Eddie, Billy, Jimmy and John, sisters Jane-Anne, Josie (Ivers), Bridie (Moloney) and Maggie (Manton).

Deeply regretted by his loving family; devoted wife Kathleen (née Kenneally), daughters Maria (Woodlock) and Suzy (Burgess), son Billy, grandchildren Sean, Ciarán, James and Roisín, sons-in-law Jim and Colin, daughter-in-law Elaine, brothers Paddy and Pious, sisters Maura (Hill) and Kathleen (Coleman), nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law Brian, Bert and Willie, sisters-in-law Catherine and Noreen, relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday from 5pm to 7pm.

Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption on Sunday for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Thurles.
