Thomas (Tom) Barry, Clerihan and Fethard

Newchapel, Clerihan, Clonmel and formerly of Tullamaine, Fethard.

Tom passed away peacefully on Friday, 2nd May 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his family following an illness borne with dignity and grace.

His is predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Jimmy, father-in-law & brother-in-law, Denis & JJ O’Donnell.

Beloved husband of Maria, dearly loved father of Aislinn.

Tom will be forever missed by Maria, Aislinn, sisters Kay and Mary, brothers Eamonn, John, Seamus, Michael, Noel and Paul, mother-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles Michael Barry (Mary), Michael Cahill, aunts Rita Seymour (Matt), Lily O’Neill, nieces, nephews, wide circle of friends, neighbours and work colleagues in Abbott Vascular.

Maria and Aislinn would like to express heartfelt thanks to the healthcare
professionals who treated Tom in University Hospital Waterford, Mercy University Hospital, Tipperary University Hospital, Cancer Support Centre, Community Specialist Teams Palliative Care, Community Intervention Team, GP Sean Fitzpatrick and Mulligans Pharmacy, whose expertise and compassion supports Tom throughout his illness.

Reposing at O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Clonmel, E91 PK19, on Sunday from 5pm to 7pm.

Tom’s Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 12 noon, in St. Michael’s Church, Clerihan followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
