Beloved husband of his late wife, Mary (Liffey).

Pre-deceased by his brothers Louis and Joseph.

Philip was a wonderful father to John, Aidan, Dympna, Cathal and Gabriel. He will be sadly missed by adored grandchildren Éanna, Donal, Eoin, Niall, Clodagh and Cathal, his daughters-in-law Pauline (Dillon), Pauline (Donnelly), Sarah (Donnelly), his sisters Sr Bernadine (South Africa) and Ita (Mullen, Woodford) and brother-in-law Michael Liffey (Riverstown).

Philip will be remembered fondly by all the members of the extended family, his neighbours and friends and the wider Lorrha GAA community.

Reposing in Dignity Funeral Care on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village (H53 AY18) on Tuesday from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

Funeral cortége will arrive at St Ruadhan’s Church, Lorrha on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial will take place after Mass in the adjoining cemetery.
