Michael passed away peacefully after a brief illness in the care of Waterford University Hospital with his family by his side.

Predeceased by his father Jimmy and his mother Jane.

He will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken and loving family, his wife Grainne, sons Jack and Gavin, sister Frances and her husband Spike, aunts Philly, Breda, Ann and Joan, uncles Pat and Peter, parents in law Michael and Patricia Kelly, brothers in law, sisters in law, cousin’s, neighbours, his many friends and his colleagues in Irish Rail.

Reposing at Costigan’s Funeral Home Cahir on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral cortége leaving his home on Saturday morning at 11am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Cahir for mass at 11.30am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
