Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. In the wonderful care of the staff of St Theresa’s Nursing Home, Thurles.

Predeceased by his parents Josephine and John-Joe, brother Sean, sister Mary (Connolly), son-in-law Gary (Wicks), brother-in-law Edward (McGoldrick). Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family; devoted wife Ann (née McGoldrick), son John, daughters Michelle (Wicks), Siobhan (Fogarty), Aisling (Quirke), Áine, Marie and Carmel, 19 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Martina, sons-in-law Joe, Maurice and David, brothers Liam and Patrick, sisters Bridin (O’Gorman), Siobhan (Casey), Ann (Harris) and Teresa (Shaw), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Monday 24th February from 5pm to 7pm.

Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption Thurles on Tuesday 25th February at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s cemetery, Thurles
