John died peacefully after a short illness in the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore, surrounded by his family and friends on June the 3rd 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Essie and his Brother in Law, Michael Loughnane.

He will be greatly missed by his sister Mary Loughnane, Woodlands Park Birr, his nephew Michael, Ann, Charlie and Ella Loughnane, Lisheen Birr, Cousins on both the O’Shea and Douglas sides and a wide circle of friends and kind neighbours.

May John’s gentle and kind soul, Rest in Peace.

John will repose at St Cuimin’s Church Barna, Eircode E53WY09 on Friday the 6th of June from 4pm till 8pm.

Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Saturday the 7th in St Cuimin’s Church, with Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery Dunkerrin.
