John passed away peacefully on the 30th December 2024 at St. Luke’s General Hospital Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his son Johnny, and his infant daughter Mary Janet.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Winnie, and father to Pat, Teresa, Bernadette and Hughie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his home (eircode E41P981) on Tuesday evening (31st December) from 4 o’clock with family prayers at 7 o’clock. Also reposing on Wednesday (New Year’s Day) from 3 o’clock, concluding with Rosary at 6 o’clock, followed by Removal to the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford (eircode E41 F866), arriving at 7 o’clock.
Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery Johnstown.
