Peacefully on April 12th 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff of St James’s Hospital Dublin surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his parents Kathleen and Denis.
Deeply missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, wife Eadaoin, cherished children Eimear and Tiarnach, sisters Martina (Clancy), Noreen (Connolly), Denise (Hallinan) and Samantha, adored aunt Mary, stepmother Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, parents-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends and neighbours.
Eadaoin and Mary would like to thank the wonderful teams at St James’s Hospital Dublin, particularly those in the Donal Hollywood ward who have given such wonderful care and shown us such kindness at this time . It is much appreciated.
Joe will be fondly remembered by many.

Reposing in Brett’s Funeral Home Mullinahone (E41EV78) on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church Grangemockler followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
