Carheeny, Claregalway and formerly of Drom.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Elizabeth and his infant sister Elizabeth. Suddenly at his home. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his wife Anne, his daughters Georgina and Olivia, his son Fergal, his daughter-in-law Caitríona (Mc Loughlin) and his adored grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his brothers Larry, Pat (Tipperary), Fr.Oliver (Manchester) and John (Cork), his sister Marie (Limerick), his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Gerard’s kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Sioraíocht in the grounds of the Assumption and St. James Church, Claregalway (H91YH05) on Friday evening from 4.30pm removal at 6.30pm to the adjacent church.

Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11am, burial afterwards in Cregg Cemetery (H91EK7R).

Funeral Mass will be live-streamed here: www.churchtv.ie/claregalway and broadcast on parish radio.
