St Ailbe's Secondary School in Tipp town had applied for permission to build a 2 classroom ASD unit to cater for the needs of children with Autism.
The plans for the school on Rosanna Road also include the integration of an existing freestanding adult education centre on the site.

Tipperary County Council have this week granted conditional approval for the works to proceed.
