Tipperary road users are being advised to exercise caution and check local traffic and weather conditions before setting out on a journey today.
A status yellow wind warning from 3 o’clock this afternoon will be upgraded to orange for the Premier county from 8 o’clock tonight.

Meanwhile a Status Red wind warning has been issued for six counties as Storm Darragh prepares to make landfall.
The alert for Mayo, Clare and Galway takes effect from 10 o’clock tonight, followed by Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo an hour later.
