Electricity has been restored to all the Tipperary families with power cuts but 2,000 homes and businesses in the County are still without water.

Uisce Éireann says it’s the Galtee Regional Scheme, Ardfinnan, Templeteney and in some parts of Killenaule on Fethard Regional Scheme that are still affected.

Those 2,000 may have no water at all or low and intermittent pressure.

18,000 households, farms and businesses across the county have been affected by outages since the snow over the weekend and many of those are still experiencing poor pressure as supplies replenish.

Tankers are in place at Emly GAA, Lattin GAA, Monard (Church at Solohead) and Mount Bruis National School.

There’s also one at the Dove Hill shopping centre for locals on the Templeteney Scheme and one will be made available at 9am at Grange National School for the Ardfinnan supply.
