Healy and Kelly were elected without reaching the quota with outgoing Fine Gael TD Tom Hayes losing out.
Overall it was a very bad election for Fine Gael in Tipperary as they went into it with two sitting TDs and left with none as Noel Coonan also failed to get re-elected.
