Gardaí in Waterford have launched an investigation into the alleged assault of a teenage girl on St Patrick’s Day.
The girl received medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries following an incident involving a gang of youths in Cappoquin on the March 17th.
Dungarvan Gardaí say they are following a definite line of enquiry into the matter.
