Water supply should be back to normal for homes an businesses the Galtee Regional Scheme in west Tipperary.
Repairs were successfully carried out to a burst water main in the area yesterday afternoon (Friday).
Some customers at the end of the scheme and particularly at higher elevations may not have had pressure returning until this morning.
There may be some increased instances of discoloured water in the short-term but it can usually be sorted by running the tap for a few minutes until the water runs clear.
Uisce Éireann is reminding people to protect their water pipes from the freezing weather.
We should be checking outside pipes that can become frozen and burst during periods of cold weather and, if possible, turn off water supply to these areas or to any unoccupied premises.
They are also warning that we should not leave taps running as this will not necessarily prevent pipes from freezing and can affect your local water supply.
