RNLI assist stricken cruiser on Lough Derg

The Lough Derg RNLI crew launched yesterday to assist a person on a 27ft cruiser with engine failure.

The alarm was raised shortly after 1.30pm with the vessel reported to be at anchor at Curraghmore Point.

By 2pm the lifeboat had the casualty vessel in sight with the cruiser taken in tow to Dromineer Harbour.
