An 8 year old Tipperary boy who died in a boating accident in the US will be laid to rest in County Meath later this week.
Harry O’Connor was on the water with a group near Boston last Wednesday when the boat capsized and he became trapped underneath it.
A diver managed to rescue Harry but he lost his fight for life in hospital at the weekend.
The family had lived at Poulnaganogue, Clonmel before moving to the US.
Harry’s father Paudie is Multi Site Vice President Manufacturing at Boston Scientific while his mother Laura Lenehan is from Meath.
He will be laid to rest in Duleek on Thursday.
